The THS 1.8T De-cat pipe replaces the existing highly restrictive catalytic converter. The THS De-cat has a large 72mm internal diameter tubing direct from the turbo which helps the turbo to spool much faster. It is made from T304 Stainless steel. Turbo spool up time can be reduced by as much as 400rpm.

Please note that when this de-cat is installed the standard catalytic converter will be removed. Therefore this item is for offroad use only

The THS 225 decat is designed to replace the existing restrictive catalytic converter in your Audi TT 225, or S3. It will significantly increase turbo spoolup speed and increase bhp output. Unlike some other kits available this decat utilises the standard Audi/Seat downpipe which not only make it easier to install but also makes it a more reliable setup as the standard downpipe rarely suffers from failure due to cracking.

The decat has a larger 70mm outlet to allow connection to a larger aftermarket exhaust. Also supplied is an adaptor which can be used to allow you to connect the decat to a standard exhaust system. You will need to shorten the decat when using this option but we also supply another adaptor which allows you to convert the decat back to a 70mm size if you updrade your exhaust at a later date.

Depending on other modifications power increases of upto 20bhp+ can be achieved.

Please note that your car will not pass emission tests without a catalytic converter. Therefore these are for off road use

The THS Tdi downpipe/decat is designed to replace the existing restrictive catalytic converter in your Audi/VW 1.9Tdi. It will significantly increase turbo spoolup speed and increase bhp output. The Downpipe is constructed of T304 Polished Stainless Steel and features a flexi-joint to allow sufficient movement between the engine and exhaust system. All bends are produced using a CNC Mandrel Bending machine. This ensures that there is no ovaling of the pipe. TIG welding is utilized on flexi and flange joints for superior strength.

The downpipe/decat has a 63.5mm (2.5") diameter outlet connection which can be used to connect to an aftermarkert 63.5mm exhaust system. However we have incorporated our modular exhaust adaptors which we found to be very popular on some of our other downpipes systems. The modular system comes with 2 adaptors which can be used to allow you to connect the downpipe/decat to the 2 sizes of standard exhaust found on the 1.9TDi Models. You will need to shorten the decat when using this option but we also supply another adaptor which allows you to convert the decat back to a 63.5mm size if you upgrade your exhaust at a later date.
